I'm a novice rafter and purchased the Super Puma in hopes for a cheaper raft that could handle class 4 rapids with 4 or 5 passengers. In the few weeks I've owned it, it has proved it's worth. Easily handling the N. Santiam (class 3), Clackamas (class 3-4), and the White Salmon (class 3-5). With a little experience and the right safety equipment this raft is ready for most of the raftable rivers of the Northwest.

Fished with Don Baylor[owner of Aquatic Resource Consulting ] this past week .He not only fished but he rowed the boat and he was amazed how it was so easy to ferry the boat across the river and to set up for the new position to fish. He said that there was no comparison to other boats that he had rowed . He was also very impressed with the casting deck and it's stability , he said he was a lot less tired at the end of the day. So as you can see that there is a pattern with all the people that I asked about the boat . They liked the stability ,they liked the ride, ease of handling and the frame set up for fishing.
