This is an excellent boat that does most things very well. I have used mine for eleven years on the Payette River and on local Idaho lakes. It behaves like any cataraft and is very willing to take some punishment. It has been pushed hard through rocks and rapids and into deadfall strainers without any damage. I would highly recommend it as stable and capable fishing platform.
But it has a few liabilities. The original strapping that tied the frame to the pontoons was eaten up by the sun and needed to be replaced after eight years. Because it is a relatively light weight, low wetted surface pontoon vessel it simply does not track very well, especially in the wind. But that's the nature of the boat.
