OSG Clearwater

The Clearwater is ready for big water and lots of gear. Using the open oarlock system, perfected on some of our multi-person rafts, it can accommodate longer/stronger oars for conditions when you need to put more oomph into your stroke. The Clearwater has a trampoline style cargo space in front and back for securing lots of gear. It has a 450lbs load capacity but weighs in at just under 35lbs. The high-back seat rests on an inflatable thwart so the rower has great visibility and making it great for longer days on the water and even short expedition trips. Bonus, no trailer is needed and will fit in the bed of pick-up or can be car-topped for easy transport to your next fishing spot.

*Comes with 7′ 2-piece oars, a folding seat, and 3 Scotty Mounting Pads*

Great river raft that is effortless to row, amazingly maneuverable and extremely portable. I own a drift boat, jet sled and now a Clearwater This raft is my first choice for small rivers in pursuit of trout, sea run cuthroat, salmon and steelhead. Simply a fishing machine!

  2. Chris Phillips

I have had my Clearwater for 10 months now and tried to put it through a variety of real-world test conditions. I have fished it on rivers, ponds and lakes. I have taken it on full day runs of technical class II whitewater. The bottom line is: this is a great raft!
The Clearwater is a well thought out raft design, produced with high quality materials. The seating position is high off the water and very comfortable. This allows for easy reading of water, as well as fishing. The row ability and maneuverability of the Clearwater is outstanding. The 7ft. oars allow you to apply as much power as you want, whenever you want it, especially on rivers. The raft is easy to break down and transport.
In summary, this is a very versatile frameless fishing raft that is both comfortable and fun. I plan to enjoy it for many years.
Recommendations: be sure to buy 1) oar rights, 2) blade rests and 3) pressure gage

  3. Steve Golebiewski

Great boat! Using it for salmon and steelheading in PNW coastal rivers. Full setup takes about 10 minutes with the hurricane air pump. Added the frameless cargo pocket and Scotty anchor lock (deck mount). This boat is great for shallow water when the other boats can’t get through. It’s also solid in high water and class II with minimal splash. Turns on a dime. Open leg area is clutch for dropping anchor and casting without ever getting out of the boat. Even has room in the back to bring the pup, cooler or overnight gear.

The absolute best personal raft out there!

As a lifelong fisherman, mainly steelhead, on the west coast of British Columbia I have owned virtually every raft, pontoon, drift boat out there.

We had our eyes on the Clearwater before it even was available and for good reason. Very well thought out design, comfortable and can pack gear for multiple day trips. Capable of all you can throw at it and very maneuverable.

The Clearwater did not disappoint! It’s the only boat I own now and is used very often. As said above, recommend the side pocket, rod holders and I also upgraded the oars. The stock oars are actually pretty good on their own but it’s always good idea to have a spare. If you are on the fence the decision is easy. GET THE CLEARWATER!
