It’s 20% larger than our best-selling Fish Cat 4 and has 2″ more interior seat space for a more comfortable ride. Overall, it’s 3″ wider, 10″ longer, and the tube diameter is .5″ larger than the Fish Cat 4. The Fish Cat 5 Max comes with a foam seat and backrest for an enjoyable day out on the water.

I had fish cat 4 then I up grated to the fish cat 5 I am glad I did it has more room but I am having trouble locating another one for a Christmas present are they still making them

Big anglers look here!!! I’m a big boy tipping the scales at 355lb, I had tried buddies other boats, Cumberland and Fish Cat 4 and even XL Tubes with some success but confidence was never at its peak. The Fish Cat5 answers all the questions. I’ve loaded this boat up with all my gear including a fish finder and still floats like a dream and keeps my huge ass out of the water. The extra 2″ of width gives you that needed extra room but also makes the boat feel more stable (I did make one modification, as the foam seat comes in two pieces for easier storage I slid a piece of 3/4 plywood under the foam to give the seat a tad more rigidity, coated the plywood in PlastiDip to keep it waterproof)
I assure you, if your a big dude like me and looking for a stable comfortable boat this is the one!!!

This tube is great. At about 250LB, I could probably squeeze by with the fishcat 4 lcs. This is so much better performing and easy to use compared to my previous tube. The reason I wanted to add a review is the off-the-charts outstanding customer service provided by Outcast. I have had 2 issues(neither of which was their fault) and they have gone above and beyond each time.
