OSG Striker

The Outcast Sporting Gear (OSG) Striker is designed to facilitate easy, quick water access for two anglers. It’s small and compact and eliminates the need for a trailer, since it can fit in the back of a pickup truck. The minimal frame and inflatable lean bar simplify set-up so you spend less time tinkering with the boat and more time fishing. At just 102 lbs., two people can comfortably carry the Striker to the water. Its small raft design and self-bailing floor are great for maneuvering in rivers. A motor can be added to the OSG Striker for fishing in lakes and reservoirs.

What makes the OSG Striker special?

Awesome is all i have to say about this raft. I row a 16×54 drift boat all winter was rowing a 9ft fish cat all summer. Bought this raft to take the wife for summer runs. It is very easy to row, love the integrated gear systems, had a 25 lb king slam a bait diver rod in rod holder and it held up to the stress. Boat fits nicely in short bed truck suggest an oar upgrade like the mini mags from cataract and brass oarlocks other than that been an all out fish slaying machine.

Don’t hesitate on this boat! Super easy to row and maneuver, fits inside the box of a full sized truck, I can flip it upside down and portage it on my back all alone to get in and out of places you couldn’t with bigger boats. Integrated gear system works well, I’ve got a rod holder and an anchor holder which supports a 20lb anchor, no problem. I was a bit worried about the inflatable lean bar but it works like a champ and it also easily removable. The boat is super portable but still super sturdy and durable.

Just got the Striker. WOW. The performance is beyond expectations. Easy to row, fish, assemble and disassemble. Fits easily into my small truck along with all sorts of equipment and tackle. Rows nicely. I love the upgraded Cataract Cutthroat oars — for variable depths. First float was an 11 mile trip down the lower Methow River in Eastern WA. It fished perfectly. Ideal boat for 2. I got the 4″ pump–strongly recommendl! Pumps very easily and quickly. Better than electric in my opinion. I also got the anchor attachment and seat back pack and side storage. Got one Scotty rod holder. Already ordered a second for the front. Would also suggest a K-100 pump as a backup for on the river. If you order, I would suggest getting the maximum extra plates (3) for attachments. This boat is the perfect boat if you don’t want a trailer. I feel it can handle even very technical water. Looking forward to many adventures. I cannot overstate how good this product is. Will easily pay for itself in just a few trips compared to the cost of guides. I had no difficulty setting up and taking down alone even though my wife was there to help if needed. She loves it and calls the front seat her princess chair. Knee braces work well.. very comfortable to row all day long…

I’ve had the OSG Striker for 3 years and it’s been a great raft for my wife and me. Last year we floated the Green section A at 800 cfs in the fall, and at 2000 cfs in the spring and it handled excellent at both flows. Mother In Law was a piece of cake! Also have floated a few sections of the Colorado at various flows! I also have the Cataract oar upgrade, 20 lb anchor with Scotty anchor support, and storage bags. Great 2 person inflatable!

Awesome boat, I just love it. Can be set up in minutes, and room for two adults or one adult and two kids. I Replaced the front seat for a cooler and you get an upgraded unit. Perfect for lagoons and medium difficulty rivers.

I’ve had this boat for about 6 years now. I’ve taken it on countless Michigan small streams, multi-day rafting trips in Arkansas and Wisconsin, used it for a couple seasons of duck hunting with a mounted trolling motor, and my buddy even sent it sailing out of the back of his truck at 40mph when a strap broke. It landed right on the lean bar. Scuffed it up pretty bad but it’s been 3 years since, and I’ve still never had a leak. Have never even needed any replacement parts (although I’ll admit to substituting some heavy gauge wire for some lost screws). Truly one of the best purchases I have ever made. If I was rowing bigger water more regularly, I would probably upgrade the oars and oarlocks. The lean bar works great, but the stripping apron is likely a worthwhile purchase because if you’re throwing a lot of line it can be hard not to tangle on the bottom corners of the lean bar, d-rings, etc.
