I have used for 5 plus years (own 2) and by far these are the best as I have had several others and they do not compare. A little heavy but not that much. I am 73, tube 50+ days a year here in Alaska and I can haul around ok. I just try to stay within my hauling distance. I carry 2 (sometimes 3 rods), have fish sonar on board and net. Plenty of room for flies, etc. Price looks steep maybe but look at how cheap it really is with all the trips you can take. I guided for many years here in Alaska, mostly for salmon and trout in the Bristol Bay system. After retired from that looking for peaceful fishing and tubing is it. No one fishes the lakes here and we have tons of nice rainbows in our lakes and NO tubes. Everyone salmon crazy, go figure. Get into tubing it’s the best!

Je pêche en float tube depuis 20 ans. J’avoue que le Prowler a vraiment quelque chose de spécial. On y est bien,il est confortable et on se sent en sécurité. On peut y charger tout un tas de matériel, je pars plusieurs jours avec et je fais du bivouac. Ce float tube est très bien conçu pour la pêche à la mouche.

pretty awesome tube. leaps and bounds better than my caddis pro 1000 that i fished from the late 90s to 2024. it’s huge and comfortable. it’s built like a tank without being too heavy. the inflatable floor and backrest are a huge plus and affords a custom comfort level. there’re tons of storage area behind the seat that keeps stuff pretty dry. the only gripe i have with it is the stripping apron design, specifically the magnetic retention design. the magnets don’t hold very well so the apron doesn’t stay taught. i find myself constantly reattaching the magnets. my pro 1000 used thin bungees with hooks that were far superior to this magnet system. i wish outcast would redesign the apron with hooks that won’t come loose. other than that, this is a stellar tube.
