I love my Fish Cat 4. It’s comfortable, stable, and seaworthy. It’s just a great and portable fishing platform that fits in the back of my Subaru. I have used it about 20-30 times a year for the last 5 years. I just found out another reason to love it, and that is Outcast’s outstanding customer service. I fished in the float tube last week. After I had returned home and was washing it off, I discovered that the stitching in the cover around one of the fill valves was ripping out, exposing the air cell underneath. I called Outcast to ask about repairs, but before I called, I went searching for my receipt, only to discover that my tube was 14 days out of the five year warranty. I called anyway. I explained the problem and the warranty issue. The gentleman I talked to asked me to send photos and proof of purchase, and he said he would talk to his manager. I sent off the requested items. Less than 15 minutes later, I got a message telling me that they would replace my tube under warranty and asking for a shipping address. What great and timely customer service! Outcast has certainly earned me as a customer for life.
