have both the Outcast Stealth Pro* and Fish Cat Scout, this upcoming summer will be my 3rd season using the frameless pontoons. They have been dragged over gravel, flown around camp in the Wyoming wind, rowed through sharp underbrush, and launched off of vehicles. Both have around 200 river hours and so far not 1 leak, no tears, no issues with oars or oar mounts breaking, and the zippers are still working well. I have used these on multi day fly fishing trips down the Flaming Gorge A & B sections with 30 lbs of gear, including Red Creek Rapids. This last summer we took both boats on an overnight down the Black Canyon section of the Gunnison Gorge that included over a dozen class III and a couple class IV rapids, once again with 30 lbs of gear.** I have mixed feelings regarding the oar set-up. I like how the oars fold over and stow when not in use, but the set up doesn't allow any sort of upgrade. I would like to have the option of an upgraded oar that would work with the current oar lock or an adapter that would allow a standard oar lock. * I usually use the Stealth Pro; 6'3" 190lbs **I don't believe that they were designed for white water so probably not the best idea.
