I have used this boat for 15 years. I just took it out of the carrier for a trip in a few weeks and blew up the pontoons. It looks as good as the day I first used it. There may be others boats as good but I can’t imagine one any better.

I have used this boat regularly for two years and have had no problems. The pontoons are very well made and I don’t worry about dragging it over a bit of gravel when I first launch it at the lake. I carry it on an easy packer on the back of my fifth wheel RV and have had no problems. You can buy cheaper boats but the extra cash is well worth it plus it gets a lot of second looks from other fisherman. One tip I recommend is get a boat seat extension with a swivel if you use a motor. It is much less awkward to control the motor when sitting sideways than if the motor is behind you plus you can turn 360 degrees easily.

I love this thing. Got the pac 900 and it performs far better than anticipated. Handles class III rapids with relative ease. I do recommend using oar leashes or you may end up swimming back to shore.

I have had my Pac 9 since they first came out. I also had a 16′ Jaguarundi Aire cataraft and I can attest to the quality and durability of the workmanship. Sadly, because of age and related health reasons my Pac 9 will soon be for sale. Somebody in Alaska is going to get a quality craft. The fact that they are still being made is a testament to their quality. I have fished this boat for many salmon seasons alongside friends with similar boats. The Pac 9 is in a class of its own. Thank you.

Top notch product and a great company. I’ve used mine for dozens of river trips in Montana and in the rockier rivers of Wisconsin and Michigan. This is a tough boat, and riding in it is like going down the river in an easy chair. I damaged the boat (dumb mistake of my own), and the friendly people at outcast walked me through the repair. I would never buy another brand.
