I’m 6’9 260lbs and this cat works great! If you’re a bigger guy- this is the pick!

I have to start by saying I love this boat. There were a couple of issues that I corrected. The seat was one of the big ones. Not ridged enough to keep from folding in. I did 2 things;
I used the bladder from my catfish 4 and put it on the top side of the seat
I then slide a small plastic cutting board on the bottom side of the seat. Perfect solution, I ride high and the seat stays completely dry
The second issue was the stripping apron. Although the idea was good the reality is that you are constantly having to reconnect the back straps to the magnet. I had some stronger round magnets the same size that I put on the top of the existing ones. It helped but didn’t cure the problem. My solution;
I used plastic clips that I installed on the straps by cutting off the metal disk and attaching the straps to the clips. I inserted the strap leaving a 1” tag which I folded over and glued it to the longer side using a clear silicone. I clamped it and let dry overnight. I then made small metal brackets that I used 5min epoxy to permanently attached to my magnets. Problems solved! I hope that outcast rethinks the design to remedy these issues. Now this is the perfect fishing platform for me!

I own two Outcast Stealth Pros; I'm 6'1" and weighed 335 lbs when purchased. I now weigh 285 lbs (and dropping). I've never been small enough before to fish from a pontoon or kickboat. I love my Stealth Pros but with a Fish Cat 5 I can, with 3-4 regular sized fishing buddies, can load up in one car when traveling to a favorite fishing spot.

Is it possible to transport and store the float tubes in a way that maximizes their performance and durability, while also taking into consideration the potential health risks associated with exposure to DEHP chemicals?
